{"id":379169,"date":"2025-12-29T23:11:17","date_gmt":"2025-12-29T23:11:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/379169\/"},"modified":"2025-12-29T23:11:17","modified_gmt":"2025-12-29T23:11:17","slug":"lewis-hamilton-overlooked-as-f1-team-bosses-vote-on-top-10-drivers-of-2025","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/379169\/","title":{"rendered":"Lewis Hamilton overlooked as F1 team bosses vote on top 10 drivers of 2025"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.motorsportweek.com\/tag\/hamilton\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Lewis Hamilton<\/a> has been left out of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.motorsportweek.com\/series\/single-seater\/formula-1\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Formula 1<\/a> bosses\u2019 top-10 drivers\u2019 list after a dismal debut season with Ferrari in 2025.<\/p>\n<p>After making a shock, and a highly anticipated move to the Maranello-based team at the start of the 2025 campaign, Hamilton signed off his maiden season with Ferrari miserably.<\/p>\n<p>Winless and without a Grand Prix podium to his name for the first time in his F1 career, the seven-time World Champion ended up sixth in the Drivers\u2019 standings after 24 rounds.<\/p>\n<p>That said, when it came to the team principals picking their own top-10, Hamilton resoundingly fell short of making the cut. <\/p>\n<p>The list, featured on F1\u2019s official website, sees Hamilton omitted when compiling the scores assigned by the 10 team bosses to drivers across the campaign.<\/p>\n<p>Sifting through all their answers, drivers were then handed points according to the current F1 points-scoring system.
