One teenager is in custody and \u201ca number\u201d of other people are on the run after fleeing from a car crash in western Sydney<\/a>.<\/p>\n

A Porsche Cayenne was being chased by police when it crashed through a fence, coming to rest on a putting green, at Woodville Gold Club on Monday night.<\/p>\n

The pursuit had started when police noticed the Porsche driving suspiciously on Mona St in South Granville about 9.45pm.<\/p>\n

Officers followed the SUV for several kilometres before it crashed into the golf course where \u201ca number of occupants\u201d ran away from the vehicle, police<\/a> said.<\/p>\n

A police helicopter, dog squad and highway patrol were called in to search for them.<\/p>\n

A 17-year-old boy found in nearby bushland was arrested.<\/p>\n

He was taken to Parramatta Police Station where he is assisting with police inquiries.<\/p>\n

Officers allegedly found a firearm in the Porsche, which police also allege had \u201ccloned\u201d number plates.<\/p>\n

Both the firearm and vehicle<\/a> will undergo forensic examination as part of ongoing investigations.<\/p>\n
