Cody Simpson<\/a> is returning to music!!<\/p>\n

The 28-year-old entertainer started his career as a singer when he was a teenager, and after about ten years, took a step back and pursued another passion<\/a> \u2013 making the Australian Swim Team. <\/p>\n

Now, after dabbling in some acting over the past couple years, Cody is officially coming back to music! <\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m excited to come back to music full time after my swimming career but I\u2019m also really afraid because what if I lose myself in the industry again and what if it doesn\u2019t work out the way I\u2019d like it to but also how can it not because I love what I do so much and will stop at nothing to play big venues and connect with lots of beautiful people plus also I got athlete mentality now,\u201d he wrote over a short video of himself on Sunday (December 28).<\/p>\n

Several hours later, he revealed he\u2019s about to sign a new record deal! <\/p>\n

\u201cUpdate: It\u2019s 2 days after Christmas 2025 and I\u2019m in the airport waiting for my flight back to LA to sign a new record deal and restart my music career and I truly feel 17 again.. like Zac Efron in the movie,\u201d he shared. \u201cPosting this to capture the feeling of being at the start of a new journey to come back to later\u201d <\/p>\n
