{"id":380828,"date":"2025-12-30T17:24:08","date_gmt":"2025-12-30T17:24:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/380828\/"},"modified":"2025-12-30T17:24:08","modified_gmt":"2025-12-30T17:24:08","slug":"doomsday-teaser-trailer-focused-on-thor-released","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/380828\/","title":{"rendered":"Doomsday&#8217; Teaser Trailer Focused on Thor Released"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t<a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/t\/marvel\/\" id=\"auto-tag_marvel_1\" data-tag=\"marvel\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Marvel<\/a> released a first look at the return of Thor in the highly anticipated <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/t\/avengers-doomsday\/\" id=\"auto-tag_avengers-doomsday_1\" data-tag=\"avengers-doomsday\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Avengers: Doomsday<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tThe teaser trailer (below) focused on the God of Thunder (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/t\/chris-hemsworth\/\" id=\"auto-tag_chris-hemsworth_1\" data-tag=\"chris-hemsworth\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Chris Hemsworth<\/a>) follows the similarly sentimental first look at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/movies\/movie-news\/chris-evans-returns-avengers-doomsday-trailer-1236454382\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/movies\/movie-news\/chris-evans-returns-avengers-doomsday-trailer-1236454382\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">return of Steve Rogers<\/a> (Chris Evans).<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tHere Thor is shown with his daughter (India Rose Hemsworth) and then praying to his father to protect him before, presumably, doing battle with Doctor Doom (Robert Downey Jr.) so he can return safely home to her. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t\u201cLend me the strength of the all-fathers so that I may fight once more, defeat one more enemy and return home to her \u2014 not as a warrior, but as warmth, to teach her not battle, but stillness, the kind I never knew,\u201d he says. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tThe Thor footage has been circulating online for days, however, having leaked from theatrical preview screenings. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tDirectors Joe and Anthony Russo wrote on Instagram: \u201cWhen even a god has to pray for strength.\u201d The marks the return of RDJ to Marvel after famously played Tony Stark\/Iron Man over the course of numerous MCU films. In\u00a0Doomsday, however, he is playing classic villain Doctor Doom. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tAvengers: Doomsday\u00a0is set to be released in theaters on Dec. 18, 2026.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Marvel released a first look at the return of Thor in the highly anticipated Avengers: Doomsday.
