Millions of Australians around the country are preparing to watch the annual fireworks display this New Year\u2019s Eve and authorities are urging everyone to plan ahead of time.<\/p>\n
No matter where Australians are, firework displays can be enjoyed with a SkyNews.com.au Streaming Subscription.<\/a><\/p>\n See when and where New Year\u2019s Eve fireworks are set to light up the sky in your city.<\/p>\n Sydney<\/p>\n At 9pm, the first round of fireworks<\/a> will begin.<\/p>\n Spots like\u00a0Dawes Point<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Darling Harbour<\/a> offer space for kids to play, food trucks and entertainment.<\/p>\n At 11pm, a Moment of Unity will take place with a one-minute silence to reflect on the tragic Bondi terror attack.<\/p>\n The Sydney Harbour Bridge will glow white as a symbol of peace and unity.<\/p>\n From 12am, 2026 will be rung in with the world\u2019s best fireworks show, featuring pyrotechnics launched from the Sydney Harbour Bridge, Sydney Opera House and other landmarks.\u00a0<\/p>\n Vantage points on the western side of the city include Barangaroo and Observatory Hill.<\/p>\n Mrs Macquarie\u2019s Point, Bradfield Park & Mary Booth Reserve, Bennelong Lawn and Tarpeian Lawn offer great views of the Sydney Harbour Bridge and Sydney Opera House.<\/p>\n Brisbane<\/p>\n At 7.45pm, Brisbane\u2019s<\/a> first round of fireworks will light up the city\u2019s skyline.<\/p>\n The Landing is the best viewing location at Queen\u2019s Wharf, however capacity is limited and only available on a first-in basis.<\/p>\n Howard Smith Wharves, the Riverside Centre and South Bank are also popular spots to view the fireworks.<\/p>\n Brisbane will also display a fireworks show at midnight to herald in the new year.<\/p>\n Melbourne<\/p>\n Melbourne\u2019s<\/a> sky will also light up twice with family-friendly fireworks from 9.30pm.<\/p>\n The midnight rooftop fireworks and a laser display will be accompanied by a soundtrack produced in partnership with Nova 100\u2019s Jase and Lauren.<\/p>\n Vantage points include the Docklands, Kings Domain, Flagstaff Gardens and the Treasury Gardens.<\/p>\n No bookings are required.<\/p>\n Adelaide<\/p>\n
