The Ghana cedi closed 2025 on a strong note, ending the year at GH\u00a210.45 to the US dollar on the interbank market, according to data from the <\/a>Bank of Ghana<\/a>.<\/p>\n

As of Tuesday, December 30, 2025, with just two days remaining in the year, the local currency recorded one of its strongest performances in recent weeks, strengthening to GH\u00a210.65 to the dollar.<\/p>\n

The year-end position represents a notable appreciation from GH\u00a211.10 to the dollar recorded on Monday, December 29, 2025, underscoring a sharp gain by the cedi as trading drew to a close for the year.<\/p>\n
