\n The Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust (CPFT) clinicians \u2013 Dr Annabel Price, Dr Julius Essem, and Dr Muzaffer Kaser \u2013 have each received the honour.\n<\/p>\n
\n Dr Price said: “I was inspired to apply for a fellowship because women don\u2019t always put themselves forward for these sorts of awards, even when they are very well deserved.\n<\/p>\n
\n “As a former college faculty chair, I wanted to apply and encourage women developing their careers in psychiatry.\n<\/p>\n
\n “I\u2019m delighted that Muzaffer and Julius have also been awarded fellowships in this round.\n<\/p>\n

\n “In CPFT I\u2019m very lucky to work with such a talented and supportive group of colleagues.”\n<\/p>\n
\n A consultant liaison psychiatrist with CPFT\u2019s older people\u2019s mental health service, Dr Price has led the development of psycho-oncology services, chaired the Royal College of Psychiatrists Liaison Psychiatry Faculty, and is committed to developing medical students and trainees in psychiatry.\n<\/p>\n
\n Dr Kaser leads CPFT\u2019s Staff Mental Health Service and has a mental health research leadership role with the NIHR East of England Regional Research Delivery Network (RRDN).\n<\/p>\n
\n He said: “I am delighted to be elected as a Fellow of the Royal College of Psychiatrists.\n<\/p>\n
\n “It is a great feeling to see that your endeavours are recognised by your professional organisation.”\n<\/p>\n

\n Dr Essem, an old age psychiatrist based at the Cavell Centre\u2019s Maple Unit, has contributed to clinical training, service improvement, and research throughout his career.\n<\/p>\n
\n He said: “It is an honour and privilege to be recognised by the College.\n<\/p>\n
\n “I am humbled to share a stage with esteemed colleagues Annabel, Muzaffer, and other Fellows.”\n<\/p>\n
\n Dr Cathy Walsh, medical director at CPFT, said: “It\u2019s wonderful to see three highly regarded colleagues honoured in this way.\n<\/p>\n
