Queen Camilla\u2019s hostile attitude toward Princess Kate has prompted senior royals to smack her down, according to palace insiders \u2014 who\u2019ve warned Camilla to fall into line or face being an outcast when the Waleses take the crown.<\/p>\n

In the latest incident, courtiers reveal Camilla\u2019s knickers were in a twist over Princess Kate, 44, donning Queen Victoria\u2019s dazzling Oriental Circlet tiara at a recent state banquet, per the Daily Mail<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cBy all accounts, Camilla was hopping mad that Kate wore the rarely seen tiara. She called it another blatant attempt by Kate to make her and her husband, King Charles III, look like also-rans,\u201d says the royal source.<\/p>\n

As Globe previously reported, sources said cancer-stricken Charles, 77, issued a deathbed decree that Prince William allow Camilla, 78, the run of the palace and its purse \u2014 even after he takes his final breath.<\/p>\n

Insiders further claimed Charles sweetened the deal by telling William that if he complied with his wishes, he\u2019d be free to banish his brother, 41-year-old Harry, and the redheaded renegade\u2019s American wife, Duchess Meghan, 44.<\/p>\n

The Prince of Wales, 43, begrudgingly agreed to the terms laid out by his father, which were secretly masterminded by Camilla, according to insiders.<\/p>\n
