She\u2019s doing well. And almost all new players. I think they know they\u2019re coming along.\u201dOthers pointed to Arkansas\u2019 nonconference performance as a key reason for confidence heading into SEC competition.\u201cI thought they\u2019ve had a really tremendous nonconference season up to this point,\u201d said the Holt family. \u201cI think they\u2019ve learned a lot about themselves right now.\u201dKen Hagans, another fan, said the team has shown promise but still has room to grow.\u201cI\u2019m impressed,\u201d Hagans said. \u201cI think there\u2019s work still to be done, but who doesn\u2019t have work to be done?\u201dWith conference play underway, fans said the emphasis now shifts to the areas that matter most against SEC opponents, including execution and physical play.\u201cFree throws,\u201d Plugge said. \u201cAnd I think they should try shooting more threes.\u201dDenver Holt said defensive consistency will be critical moving forward.\u201cThey really need to focus defensively,\u201d he said. \u201cHopefully their defense can lead to offense, transition buckets.\u201dHagans highlighted rebounding and interior play as key factors.\u201cA lot of rebounding, a lot of working down low,\u201d he said. \u201cStaying in sync.\u201dLooking ahead, fans of all ages said excitement around the team continues to build as the season progresses.\u201cYou never get a lot of games.
