Thirteen of the 19 fixtures for the AFL’s 2026 pre-season have been revealed, with the Community Series locked in and some club-organised match simulation clashes already confirmed.<\/p>\n

The Community Series will run from Wednesday, February 25 to Sunday, March 1, succeeding the individually tailored match sim sessions that will be communicated by AFL<\/a> clubs over the coming weeks.<\/p>\n

What has been confirmed is a meeting between the Western Bulldogs<\/a> and Sydney at Whitten Oval on Thursday, February 19, with the start time and formation of the match yet to be confirmed.<\/p>\n

Other matchups that have been locked include Essendon vs Richmond, Fremantle vs West Coast, and North Melbourne vs Melbourne, however dates and venues for those encounters are yet to be confirmed.<\/p>\n

That leaves Adelaide, Brisbane, Carlton, Collingwood, Geelong, Gold Coast, GWS, Hawthorn, Port Adelaide and St Kilda yet to lock in their match simulations.\u00a0<\/p>\n

As has been the case in recent years, Adelaide and Port Adelaide will likely face off for their opening clash of the pre-season, with the two sides already set to travel to Western Australia for their respective Community Series matches.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

With AFL Origin<\/a> scheduled for Saturday, February 14 at Optus Stadium, players selected for the representative clash<\/a> aren’t expected to suit up for their club’s organised match simulation session.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
