Bobby, a former Olympic cyclist, reveals strategies he learned for improving his own pedal stroke. \u201cDoing low cadence work is a great way to help improve your pedal stroke because the best way to get good at doing something fast is to do it slow,\u201d he says. It  clearly worked for him. \u201cYou look like you\u2019re almost putting no effort into the pedals, which I know is not true,\u201d Dan says of Bobby\u2019s smooth pedaling rhythm.<\/p>\n<p>Dan adds that someone\u2019s pedal stroke can also be a warning sign to a poor fit, or injury. \u201cIf your hips are rocking and rolling on the bike\u2026. If it feels like one leg is doing one thing and the other is doing something else, maybe that\u2019s a sign you need to work on your pedal stroke,\u201d he says.
