\n inclusive and accessible, BMW India Foundation has joined hands with
\n The Golf Foundation to launch \u2018Golf for Everyone\u2019 – a nationwide
\n initiative aimed at identifying and nurturing golfing talent among
\n underprivileged children.<\/p>\n
Mr. Hardeep Singh Brar, President and CEO, BMW Group India said,
\n \u201cGolf has traditionally been perceived as a sport limited to the
\n privileged few due to accessibility and resource constraints. The
\n \u2018Golf for Everyone\u2019 program seeks to change this narrative by creating
\n opportunities for talented young athletes regardless of their
\n socio-economic background. By bringing golf to the doorsteps of
\n underprivileged children, we hope to foster a truly community-driven
\n sporting culture that celebrates diversity and equal opportunity. BMW
\n India Foundation\u2019s vision is to nurture projects that transcend
\n socio-economic boundaries and becomes truly inclusive. We strongly
\n believe projects like \u2018Golf for Everyone\u2019 hold that tremendous

As part of this endeavor, BMW India Foundation and The Golf
\n Foundation are conducting India\u2019s largest annual golf talent hunt for
\n 2025-26. Through this extensive grassroots golf discovery program, the
\n search for talent will begin with in-school talent identification
\n camps across government and low-income schools. To participate in the

Using portable hitting mats, nets, and putting kits, children undergo
\n simple athletic evaluations such as throws, sprints, jumps, and
\n coordination drills. This initial screening helps identify young
\n athletes who show potential in physical agility and coordination.<\/p>\n
Children shortlisted from these camps will progress to regional
\n on-range golf camps, hosted at golf facilities across multiple Indian
\n states. Here, participants will be introduced to the fundamentals of
\n golf and assessed for basic skills, creating a bridge between raw
\n talent and formal training. Over 1,800 – 2,000 children are expected
\n to be screened through these multi-stage processes, culminating in a
\n National Talent Hunt that will select approximately 30 promising young
\n golfers to receive advanced support.<\/p>\n
The selected children will benefit from a comprehensive support
\n framework that includes regular professional coaching, access to
\n high-quality equipment, tournament exposure, mentorship, and financial
\n assistance. This holistic development program aims to empower these
\n young athletes to pursue golf professionally while also supporting
\n their overall personal growth.<\/p>\n
The \u2018Golf for Everyone\u2019 initiative not only aims to identify future
\n champions but also strives to instill values of discipline,
\n perseverance, and sportsmanship among the youth. By democratizing
\n access to golf, the program hopes to inspire a new generation of
\n achievers who will carry forward the legacy of Indian sports on
\n national and global platforms.<\/p>\n
