When we scroll through our social media feeds, we’re now forced to question whether what we’re seeing is real or artificial intelligence.<\/p>\n

Whether it’s actor Will Smith eating spaghetti or playful bunny rabbits on a trampoline, the line between fact and fiction has blurred.<\/p>\n

Janet Moeller, an AI educator and founder of Teacher PA, says education is key to picking out a fake.<\/p>\n

“They’re getting so good it really is hard to tell,” she said.<\/p>\n

As fun as AI can be, Moeller warns there’s a darker side to AI.<\/p>\n

“The FBI actually warns that when you go on vacation, do not post that to social media while you’re away,” she said.<\/p>\n

“Because if someone does have a clone of your voice, they can create a dangerous situation.”<\/p>\n

Her advice is to wait and post your vacation videos once you’re back home.<\/p>\n

“I’d also recommend for families to have a secret sentence or a secret question that lets the family members know it’s actually them,” she told A Current Affair.<\/p>\n

Because of AI, the price of home computing is about to skyrocket as tech leaders knuckle down on pricing.<\/p>\n

High-tech data machines have evolved at speed, with chip maker Nvidia becoming the first company to reach a $US5 trillion ($7 trillion) market valuation in 2025.<\/p>\n

“We are starting to see not only prices going up but also global shortages,” Allied Gaming’s Luke Flesher told A Current Affair.<\/p>\n

“It’s been primarily used for gaming for the last 10 or 15 years, but companies like Nvidia have really developed a huge tech stack which they build into the graphics cards,” he said.<\/p>\n

If you’re thinking about buying a new computer this year, the message is clear.<\/p>\n
