Britney Spears<\/a>\u00a0reportedly had a good time this Christmas as her son Jayden spent the holiday with her. However, she was allegedly \u201churt\u201d that her older son, Sean Preston, did not join them on Christmas. Instead, Preston chose to celebrate with grandparents\u00a0Jamie\u00a0and\u00a0Lynne Spears, aunt\u00a0Jamie Lynn Spears, and her family.<\/p>\n

Britney Spears\u2019 son Preston wasn\u2019t \u2018convinced\u2019 to spend Christmas with her, per source<\/p>\n

Britney Spears shares two sons, Jayden James and Sean Preston, with her ex-husband, Kevin Federline. After the initial fallout, her sons are slowly coming around. Allegedly, while Jayden joined her in California for Christmas, Preston flew to Louisiana to celebrate with the singer\u2019s family.<\/p>\n

\u201cBritney was really hurt that Preston didn\u2019t spend Christmas with her and Jayden, but he chose not to,\u201d a source told\u00a0Us Weekly<\/a>. \u201cShe tried to convince him, but he wasn\u2019t ready to meet her halfway. Preston feels really comfortable with his grandmother and his cousins and family in Louisiana, and he thought it would be a nice way to spend Christmas this year.\u201d<\/p>\n

Jamie Lynn Spears shared a carousel of photos from her Christmas celebration on\u00a0Instagram<\/a>\u00a0on December 26. The first photo showed Preston posing with his grandmother, aunt, uncle, and cousins, Maddie and Ivey, outside a church. The \u201c\u2026Baby One More Time\u201d singer reportedly sent gifts to Preston in Louisiana.<\/p>\n

The insider claimed that Preston and his mother have \u201ca little conflict\u201d to work through, but they are \u201cboth very committed\u201d to \u201cmaking strides with healing their relationship.\u201d The source further said, \u201cThey still go through some hard times because of the falling out. Preston feels isolated sometimes when he\u2019s around her, and they\u2019re working through that.\u201d<\/p>\n

The insider explained that since Preston and Jayden have turned eighteen, it has become easier for them to work on their relationship with their mother. The \u201cGimme More\u201d singer has been estranged from the rest of her family since her 13-year-long conservatorship ended in 2021.<\/p>\n
