Two of the biggest questions of the offseason for the Missouri Tigers were announced Friday, with linebacker Josiah Trotter and offensive tackle Cayden Green both announcing their decisions for the upcoming NFL draft.<\/p>\n
Trotter, Missouri’s leading tackler in 2025, will declare for the 2026 NFL draft. He transferred to Missouri after a standout season at West Virginia where he was named the Big 12 Defensive Freshman of the Year. Trotter has already gained buzz to be a potential top-50 selection in the draft. <\/p>\n
“To the passionate fans at West Virginia and Missouri \u2014 thank you for your constant support. I will forever be a Mountaineer and a Mizzou Tiger,” Trotter wrote in a statement <\/a>announcing his decision. <\/p>\n Green, however, will return for his final season of eligibility.
