UFC light heavyweight champion Alex Pereira appears to be in a new relationship with Tracy Cortez and he\u2019s already running the women\u2019s flyweight contender through a striking clinic.<\/p>\n
Earlier this week, MMA social media nearly melted after photos released<\/a> of Pereira and Cortez hugging and kissing for the New Year. Fight fans immediately noticed the new \u201cpower couple\u201d and did their best to pass the information along to UFC veteran Brian Ortega, who at one point was engaged to Cortez<\/a>.<\/p>\n Ortega, who has already married following his breakup with Cortez back in 2022, reacted to the new footage<\/a> of his former fianc\u00e9 and Pereira in respectable fashion.<\/p>\n The details of Pereira\u2019s new relationship with Cortez are unknown at this time, but the UFC champion is already helping out his fellow fighter in the gym. Pereira, who is known as one of the best strikers to ever grace the Octagon, hit the mats with Cortez the other day and taught her a thing or two about footwork and throwing feints. It was pretty cool to see.<\/p>\n Pereira, who was last seen knocking out Magomed Ankalaev at UFC 320 to reclaim his 205-pound title, could be on his way to heavyweight<\/a> before we know it.
