Red Bull has removed two young drivers from its Junior Team, Oliver Goethe and Tim Tramnitz, GPblog can confirm.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Red Bull parting ways with the duo does not come as a surprise. Goethe competed in Formula 2 last season, finishing 15th. Next season, he will drive for Prema Racing in the series. <\/p>\n

Fellow German Tramnitz raced in Formula 3, and finished fourth in the standings. For 2026, he has not managed to secure a seat in F3 or F2<\/a>\u00a0due to a lack of sponsorship funding. Red Bull had informed the driver that without securing a seat in a high-profile category, their collaboration would end. That has now happened.\u00a0 \"Tramnitz\"\/<\/p>\n

Only one Red Bull driver in Formula 2<\/p>\n

Nikola Tsolov will be the only Red Bull junior in Formula 2 this year. In F3, the Austrians have three drivers: Mattia Colnaghi, Ernesto Rivera and Fionn McLaughlin. <\/p>\n

Red Bull\u2019s academy is as renowned as it is notorious. Under the leadership of ex-advisor Helmut Marko, Red Bull regularly dared to promote youngsters from the feeder series to Formula 1. However, if a driver didn\u2019t perform well enough for a while, he was sent away just as quickly.<\/p>\n
