Jules Neale has shared her first update on social media since it was confirmed she and her AFL star husband Lachie Neale were separating.<\/a><\/p>\n

Jules posted a video of her and her friends crafting around a table with the caption: \u201cThis is your sign to get the girls together and manifest your 2026 vibes\u201d.<\/p>\n

The vision board featured in the video contained affirmations such as \u201cgood things are coming,\u201d \u201cI attract love\u201d and \u201cthe love I deserve is on its way\u201d.<\/p>\n

Neale, a dual Brownlow medallist, confirmed in a press conference on Friday he would be stepping down as Brisbane Lions<\/a> co-captain and apologising to his wife and family for letting them down.<\/p>\n

\u201cI can confirm that with regret Jules and I have now separated,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhile I won\u2019t go into specifics I can say that I have let my family down and I apologise for my actions, which have hurt those closest to me. For that I am deeply sorry.\u201d<\/p>\n

Neale said he was \u201cextremely disappointed\u201d in his actions and took \u201cfull responsibility\u201d for the end of their relationship.<\/p>\n

Days before Christmas, Jules posted on Instagram that she had been \u201cbetrayed\u201d after reports emerged that the couple were \u201cworking through\u201d their issues.<\/p>\n

\u201cI want to make it very clear that I am not \u2018working through\u2019 anything,\u201d she wrote on Instagram.<\/p>\n

\u201cI have been betrayed in the most unimaginable way.<\/p>\n

\u201cAll I can do now is try to heal and do what\u2019s best for my children.<\/p>\n

Jules deleted both her husband and her former close friend, influencer Tess Crosley, from her Instagram and has taken photos of the pair down.<\/p>\n

She and Neale\u2019s young children, four-year-old Piper and one-year-old Freddie, have reportedly moved home to Perth, where Neale started his AFL career with Fremantle.<\/p>\n

At Friday\u2019s press confrence, Neale said his focus was now on \u201crebuilding trust with Jules and the future wellbeing of our children\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cI understand as a public figure there is interest in my personal life, however I do ask the privacy of Jules and my children be respected as we work through our new situation and the next chapter of our lives,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m extremely disappointed in myself and I\u2019ve put plans and measures in place to do the work on myself so that I can be the best version of myself moving forward.\u201d<\/p>\n
