It\u2019s about time: someone is finally making a Qi 2 charger for more than just the iPhone. Finally.<\/p>\n

We knew it would come eventually, but it certainly has taken its time. <\/p>\n

While the world of wireless magnetic charging has been promised to go beyond iPhone for a couple of years now, the first major mobiles to see support on Android only kicked off at the end of last year. You can thank improvements to the Qi 2 standard<\/a> for that. <\/p>\n

In 2025, Google\u2019s Pixel 10<\/a> range and its PixelSnap cases joined one of HMD\u2019s phones to support Qi 2<\/a> and the MagSafe-esque approach to charging, connecting to a charger just like almost every other iPhone<\/a> could.<\/p>\n

There was only one problem: almost every Qi 2 charging dock only covers the Apple Watch. That\u2019s not terribly useful if you own an Android.<\/p>\n

This year, however, Belkin is showing support for Samsung and Google with a modular charging dock designed to do more.<\/p>\n

The UltraCharge Modular Charging Dock will include a 25W charging dock that includes a ring to hold your own smartwatch charging fob, while the phone mount remains compatible with every phone.<\/p>\n

You\u2019ll plug your watch fob into the 10W USB-C port on the dock, and then plug in the main dock into the wall, allowing your dock to cover your devices. <\/p>\n

It means if you own a Pixel 10 Pro XL<\/a> and a Pixel Watch 4<\/a>, you\u2019re about to be able to find a dock that can cover both devices, and even that pair of recent Pixel Buds<\/a> you might\u2019ve been considering. <\/p>\n

Overall, it\u2019s a step in the right direction for Qi2, and a more democratised approach to wireless charging, going beyond simply supporting the iPhone and the Apple Watch, which is how they all work.<\/p>\n

Belkin\u2019s democratic approach to wireless charging isn\u2019t all the company plans on releasing.<\/p>\n

The 2026 releases also include a model made just for iPhone and Apple Watch owners, but without support for a pair of AirPods specifically, likely because some AirPods cases can charge directly on either Apple Watch or iPhone charging pads.<\/p>\n

You\u2019ll also find some updates to the power banks, including 5K and 10K power banks with a kickstand, and a 27,000 mAh power bank to handle laptops and game systems complete with a built-in 140 watt USB cable.<\/p>\n

Most of this is to be expected. Belkin typically covers this gear every year.<\/p>\n

What\u2019s more unexpected is a wireless HDMI adaptor, allowing phones, laptops, tablets, and more \u2014 basically, anything with a USB-C connection \u2014 to send its display to a TV with a special HDMI receiver.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s a plug-and-play approach to wireless screen sharing, and could be exactly what people are looking for when casting technologies like Miracast don\u2019t quite deliver.<\/p>\n

Belkin will also have a more wired approach in a Dual Display USB hub, complete with two HDMI ports, but only one will run 4K on Mac, with two working on Windows. These hubs will also include support for up to eight ports, covering USB-C and Ethernet, plus 100 watts of power delivery to the main device.<\/p>\n

There\u2019s even a new charging case on the way for the Nintendo Switch 2 for $150, but sadly no charging case for the Steam Deck. We can only wish.<\/p>\n

The good news is that the price for that one gadget isn\u2019t isolated, with Belkin delivering pricing for much of what\u2019s on the way.<\/p>\n

As such, the slim power banks will start at $100 in Australia and $110 in New Zealand, the laptop power bank at $270 and $280 respectively, and that Belkin UltraCharge Modular Charging Dock for Android and iPhone alike will head to our shores from March, priced at just under $120 in Australia and just under $130 in New Zealand.<\/p>\n
