{"id":392330,"date":"2026-01-05T03:35:15","date_gmt":"2026-01-05T03:35:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/392330\/"},"modified":"2026-01-05T03:35:15","modified_gmt":"2026-01-05T03:35:15","slug":"valtteri-bottas-to-drive-ferrari-f1-car-in-adelaide","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/392330\/","title":{"rendered":"Valtteri Bottas to drive Ferrari F1 car in Adelaide"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>VALTTERI Bottas will pilot a special Ferrari Formula 1 car at this year\u2019s edition of the Repco Adelaide Motorsport Festival.<\/p>\n<p>The Grand Prix winner, event ambassador and honorary South Australian local will drive the turbocharged 156\/85 that was raced by Michele Alboreto in the inaugural Australian F1 Grand Prix in 1985.<\/p>\n<p>Although he will return to the F1 grid full-time this year with the new Cadillac squad, the Ferrari drive won\u2019t be a clash: \u2018prancing horse\u2019 engines will power the American marque\u2019s cars.<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/News_ValtteriBottasFerrari2-1024x576.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-244740\"  \/>The Ferrari 156\/85s in action at last year\u2019s AMF.
