Lachie Neale has moved out of the Brisbane home he shared with wife Jules following their very public split.<\/p>\n

Lachie, who is a two-time AFL<\/a> premiership player with the Brisbane Lions, looked low-spirited as he directed removalists moving furniture into his new home on Monday.<\/p>\n

Photographed wearing a simple white T-shirt, black sports shorts, and sandals, Lachie carried electrical equipment into the home himself while appearing to chat to the removalists.<\/p>\n

The former Brisbane captain, who stepped down from the role last week, confirmed he and Jules \u201chave now separated\u201d following seven years of marriage.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhile I won\u2019t go into specifics, I can say that I have let my family down and I apologise for my actions that have let down those that are closest to me,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

\u201cFor that I am deeply sorry.\u201d<\/p>\n

It is believed Jules, who hails from WA,<\/a> has moved back to Perth with the couple\u2019s children \u2014 Piper, 4, and Freddie, aged 1 \u2014 after she was spotted moving furniture out of the former couple\u2019s family home in Seven Hills in Brisbane\u2019s east.<\/p>\n

The five bedroom house, which the Neales purchased for $2.43 million in July 2022, features an open living layout, with a spacious backyard and a pool, and was described by Lachie as a \u201clittle sanctuary\u201d and a potential \u201cforever home\u201d in an interview with the Courier Mail in April last year.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe can definitely see ourselves staying in Queensland and Brisbane,\u201d he said in the interview.<\/p>\n

It is unclear what the former couple plan to do with the property following their split.<\/p>\n

The confirmed separation came after Jules dispelled rumours that she and Lachie were \u201cworking through\u201d marital issues, and instead posted a fiery statement on her Instagram revealing a betrayal on December 20, 2025.<\/p>\n

\u201cI want to make it very clear that I am not \u2018working through\u2019 anything,\u201d the statement said.<\/p>\n

\u201cI have been betrayed in the most unimaginable way.<\/p>\n

\u201cAll I can do now is try to heal and do what\u2019s best for my children.\u201d<\/p>\n

The woman at the centre of the Neale\u2019s separation, Tess Crosley, has not removed any photos of herself with Jules or Lachie, despite Jules unfollowing her former friend on Instagram.<\/p>\n

Just days before the news broke of the Neales\u2019 marriage drama, Jules left a comment on a post of Ms Crosley\u2019s which featured a photo of herself and her husband Ben cosying up to the Neales after the 2025 AFL Grand Final.<\/p>\n

\u201cTake these (photos) down. . .,\u201d the comment said.<\/p>\n

Ms Crosley has since posted a carousel of photos on Boxing Day with her son celebrating the Christmas season with the comments turned off.<\/p>\n
