Facing\u00a0major turnover on the defensive front after the season, Indiana head coach Curt Cignetti and his staff have keyed in on bolstering the unit. The Hoosiers landed former Kansas State University edge rusher\u00a0Chiddi\u00a0Obiazor\u00a0on\u00a0Monday, according to On3\u00a0Sports\u2019\u00a0Hayes Fawcett\u2019s\u00a0report.<\/a>\u00a0He has\u00a0two\u00a0seasons of eligibility\u00a0remaining.\u00a0<\/p>\n Obiazor\u00a0is the second Kansas State edge rusher to join the Hoosiers this cycle, after\u00a0Tobi\u00a0Osunsanmi<\/a>\u00a0committed Sunday.\u00a0Indiana also added\u00a0former\u00a0University of Notre Dame defensive lineman\u00a0Josh Burnham<\/a>\u00a0Sunday.\u00a0Obiazor\u00a0is the Hoosiers\u2019\u00a0eighth\u00a0commitment via the transfer portal.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n The 6-foot-6, 275-pound\u00a0Obiazor\u00a0spent three seasons at Kansas State\u00a0before leaving for Bloomington. He obtained a redshirt for his true freshman year in 2023. The following season,\u00a0Obiazor\u00a0recorded 17 tackles, including 3.5 sacks, earning honorable mention Big 12 Defensive Freshman of the Year honors.\u00a0Obiazor\u00a0tallied 28\u00a0tackles and two sacks in his final season with the Wildcats.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n The Eden Prairie, Minnesota, native\u00a0was a three-star recruit and the eighth-ranked player from the state coming out of high school.
