\n\tHeated Rivalry<\/a> star Hudson Williams<\/a> is set to make his late-night debut.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe 24-year-old breakout is slated to join The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon<\/a> on Jan. 7 for his first late night talk show. Chelsea Handler and Sophie Turner are also guests on Wednesday\u2019s episode. Sienna Spiro is the musical guest.<\/p>\n

\n\tWilliams and his co-star Connor Storrie <\/a>have shot to stardom over the last month following the release of Heated Rivalry, a queer romance series from Canadian streamer Crave, which airs on HBO Max in the U.S. The\u00a0show,\u00a0created for television by\u00a0Letterkenny\u00a0alum Jacob Tierney<\/a>, centers around a fictional hockey universe.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tHeated Rivalry\u00a0focuses on two rival professional hockey players\u00a0\u2014\u00a0Canada-born Shane Hollander (Williams)\u00a0of the fictitious Montreal Metros and\u00a0Russia-born Ilya Rozanov (Storrie)\u00a0of the fictitious Boston Raiders \u2014 as they navigate a years-long secret fling. <\/p>\n

\n\tWednesday\u2019s Tonight Show appearance marks the first late night interview for any cast from the Canadian hockey romance series. The romance series was already\u00a0gaining traction online<\/a>\u00a0ahead of its premiere, but it\u2019s become increasingly popular since its debut, even showing a meaningful bump in streams<\/a> for the music featured on the show.<\/p>\n

\n\tWilliams and Storrie recently reunited for an audio romance series, Ember & Ice<\/a>, for the audio erotica platform Quinn. Crave has ordered a second season of Heated Rivalry, but it\u2019s unclear when that will air as Tierney has said he still has to write the season<\/a>. The show\u2019s sixth episode, the last of its first season, aired on Crave and HBO on Dec. 26.
