The current January transfer window is obviously a vitally important one for West Ham United.<\/p>\n

West Ham boss Nuno Espirito Santo<\/a> has serious issues on his hands, but the Portuguese making some decent signings in the January window<\/a> would bring some much-needed positivity back to the club.<\/p>\n

The current squad at the London Stadium<\/a> is simply not good enough to avoid relegation, so three or four new signings will be needed as a bare minimum.<\/p>\n

West Ham have already signed Pablo Felipe<\/a>, with Valentin Castellanos apparently all set to join the club as well.<\/p>\n

The need for a new central defender is obvious as well, with more pace and dynamism required in the number 10 position too.<\/p>\n

However, in spite of all of those requirements, Nuno should be looking to move on as much of the deadwood as possible as well.<\/p>\n

West Ham trying to make \u00a37 million profit on player in the January window<\/p>\n

The transfer news is really starting to heat up for the Hammers right now.<\/p>\n

With one confirmed signing and many more potentially on the way, there will surely be players who leave the London Stadium as well.<\/p>\n

Guido Rodriguez is being heavily linked with a West Ham exit<\/a>, with Juventus closely monitoring his situation.<\/p>\n

Now, Tuttomercatoweb<\/a> are claiming that the Hammers are looking for around \u20ac8 million (\u00a37 million) for Rodriguez, 31, in the January window.<\/p>\n

If West Ham are able to get anything like that kind of money for the Argentine it would be truly terrific business.<\/p>\n

However, considering some of the performances he has put in for the Hammers, it\u2019s highly unlikely any club will be willing to pay anywhere near \u00a37 million for his services.<\/p>\n

Guido Rodriguez\u2019s West Ham career doomed from the start.<\/p>\n

Rodriguez was brought into the London Stadium by Julen Lopetegui on a free transfer in the summer of 2024.<\/p>\n

However, it was clearly evident very early on that the former Real Betis man was painfully ill-suited to the physical nature of Premier League football.<\/p>\n

Whenever Rodriguez has played for the Hammers, they have been so easy to play against, what with his lack of athleticism.<\/p>\n

The fact that Rodriguez arrived at West Ham with the reputation of being a tough-tackling no-nonsense \u2018hard-man\u2019 midfielder seems laughable now.<\/p>\n

He has proven over and over again that he is simply not good enough to play regularly in the Premier League.<\/p>\n

The sooner that West Ham can get rid of Guido Rodriguez, the better. That said, it\u2019s highly unlikely the Hammers will get anything like \u00a37 million for him.<\/p>\n
