Former Australian actress Bec Hewitt is reportedly navigating a challenging chapter alongside her husband, tennis legend Lleyton Hewitt, amid significant changes within their family.<\/p>\n

Bec, 42, and Lleyton, 44, captured the nation’s attention when they debuted their romance in the mid-2000s, quickly becoming Australia’s answer to Posh and Becks.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Now, more than two decades into their marriage, it’s understood Bec has been riding an “emotional rollercoaster” as their three children: Mia, 20, Cruz, 17, and Ava, 15, grow older and increasingly independent.<\/p>\n

According to sources close to the former Home & Away star, Bec has been feeling “sad” and “alone” as her children carve out lives away from home.<\/p>\n

“For the last 20 years, she’s (Bec’s) been a full-time mum, and now with the kids off doing their own thing, and with Lleyton’s ceaseless devotion to tennis, Bec’s been left with nothing to do,” a source told New Idea.<\/p>\n

“As the kids get older, Bec’s seeing less and less of them, which makes her sad.<\/p>\n

She’s twiddling her thumbs trying to find something meaningful to do with all of her spare time, but she’s finding it difficult.”<\/p>\n

The couple’s eldest daughter, Mia, is a musician and model who is dating the lead singer of Sydney-based band Liquid Zoo, Vanda Erich.<\/p>\n

Their son Cruz is following in his father’s footsteps on the court and is currently ranked 735 on the ATP rankings.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, their youngest daughter, Ava, like most teens, reportedly doesn’t have “much time for her mum anymore”.<\/p>\n

Bec previously opened up about stepping away from acting to focus on raising her family in a 2018 interview with Stellar.\u00a0<\/p>\n

“It was never a choice- a decision- that I made [to quit acting],” Bec told the outlet.\u00a0<\/p>\n

“It just naturally happened because, obviously, I wanted to be there with the kids. I don’t want to miss anything.”<\/p>\n

At the time, Bec said she felt “fortunate” to be travelling with Lleyton, seeing “wonderful places” and creating memories with her children.<\/p>\n

“I am with the kids all the time,” she shared. “Every minute of the day. And I love it.”<\/p>\n

Lleyton recently praised his wife’s unwavering support during his induction speech at the Sport Australia Hall of Fame gala dinner.\u00a0<\/p>\n

“It’s not easy being a partner of a tennis player,” the former world No.1 said.<\/p>\n

“And she’s (Bec’s) done everything with grace and elegance and you’ve been the rock the whole time supporting me, and I certainly wouldn’t have been able to continue my career and be able to play 20 Australian Opens without you,” he continued.<\/p>\n

“So I’m eternally grateful and I love you so much. Thank you.”<\/p>\n

It\u2019s understood Bec and Lleyton are currently in Queensland supporting Cruz as he competes in a doubles event at the Brisbane International.\u00a0<\/p>\n
