It\u2019s not clear if Pereira plans to defend his UFC light heavyweight title next or jump up to the heavyweight division to face former champion Jones, current champion Tom Aspinall, who is out with an eye injury, or for an interim UFC heavyweight title against another opponent.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1nfb3k4i _16w9vov1 _16w9vov0 ls9zuh1\">Pereira regained his UFC light heavyweight title this past October at UFC 320 when he delivered a first-round knockout of Magomed Ankalaev.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Alex Pereira is still in the giving spirit after the holiday season.
