Sebastian Stan is in talks to join his Avengers co-star <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/movies\/movie-news\/scarlett-johansson-in-final-talks-to-join-the-batman-1235856090\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Scarlett Johansson<\/a> among the new recruits for The Batman Part II, the DC Studios feature starring Robert Pattinson as the Dark Knight.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tDC Studios had no comment. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tMatt Reeves returns to direct the movie, which is aiming to film in May, and co-wrote the script with Mattson Tomlin.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tStan has had an eclectic career, with credits in movies such as I, Tonya and Donald Trump feature The Apprentice and TV shows such as Pam and Tommy. It\u2019s all been anchored by 15 years in the MCU, where he plays Bucky Barnes\/The Winter Soldier. He originated the role in 2011\u2019s Captain America: The First Avenger and followed it up with two more Captain America movies, as well as Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame, in addition to the TV show The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. He most recently appeared in Marvel\u2019s Thunderbolts* and will return for December\u2019s Avenger\u2019s: Doomsday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tThe first The Batman bowed in March 2022 and grossed $770.3 million, birthing the Max spinoff starring Colin Farrell as Penguin, who will return for the sequel. The cast of the first movie also included Zo\u00eb Kravitz as Catwoman, Jeffery Wright as Jim Gordon, Paul Dano as the Riddler, Andy Serkis as Alfred and Barry Keoghan, playing an Arkham Asylum inmate who just might be the Joker.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tStan is repped by CAA, Brookside Artist Management and Sloane Offer.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tDeadline first reported the news.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Another Marvel Studios mainstay could be heading to DC\u2019s Gotham City.
