Canadian international Emily Tuttosi will represent Exeter Chiefs on the Rugby Players Association\u2019s first-ever Women\u2019s Rugby Board.<\/p>\n
As confirmed in June last year, RPA members voted in favour of establishing separate Men\u2019s and Women\u2019s Rugby Boards. This step reflects the RPA\u2019s continued commitment to delivering dedicated representation and wellbeing support for every elite player across the game. <\/p>\n
By creating two boards, players in both the men\u2019s and women\u2019s environments will benefit from tailored, player-led representation that responds directly to the specific challenges and opportunities they face.<\/p>\n
Abi Burton (Trailfinders) has been elected chair with Jenny Hesketh (Bristol Bears) elected vice-chair, representing players for the remainder of the 2025\/26 season.<\/p>\n

All representatives are currently undertaking tailored board training through a bespoke programme developed for the RPA, funded by the Sports Governance Academy and delivered by the Chartered Governance Institute. <\/p>\n
This investment ensures every board member is equipped with the skills, knowledge and confidence to contribute effectively, strengthening the depth and professionalism of player representation across the women\u2019s game.<\/p>\n
