Haas is now set to become the first team to reveal images of its 2026 Formula 1 car, after bringing forward its launch to avoid an over-congested day.<\/p>\n
The American-owned outfit had originally planned to go public in releasing digital renders of its VF-26 on January 23 \u2013 the same day that both Ferrari and Alpine are holding events.<\/p>\n
This was also going to be a day after Mercedes, which appeared to have pole position in being the first team to show off what its 2026 car will actually look like.<\/p>\n
But on Tuesday, Haas announced that it was shifting its original plans and it will instead release images of its car on January 19.<\/p>\n
While Red Bull and Racing Bulls have an event in the United States on January 15, the week before, that is only a livery launch \u2013 so this means Haas will be the team showing off a bespoke 2026 design for the first time.<\/p>\n
F1 teams have taken very different approaches to how they are dealing with the unique circumstances of launching their cars around a private Barcelona test that is due to take place from January 26.<\/p>\n
Some squads \u2013 like Red Bull and Audi \u2013 are only holding events to show their liveries. Others like Williams and Aston Martin are waiting to officially reveal their cars after the Barcelona test, which is taking place behind closed doors, with media have been banned from attending.<\/p>\n
