If you have ever scream-shouted the lyrics \u201cMy style is the bomb didi bom di deng gi deng digi digi\u201d in a dark corner at a gay bar, your time has come. It\u2019s been nearly a decade since Robyn\u2019s last album, but the Swedish pop star is officially back: Per Rolling Stone<\/a>, she is set to drop her next album, Sexistential, on March 27.<\/p>\n

Alongside the announcement<\/a>, Robyn released the album\u2019s title track \u2014 in which she raps about IVF \u2014 and \u201cTalk To Me,\u201d<\/a> both of which she\u00a0debuted<\/a>\u00a0during a New Year\u2019s Eve show at the Brooklyn Paramount<\/a>. She also dropped the full track list, which includes titles like \u201cBlow My Mind,\u201d \u201cSucker for Love,\u201d and \u201cLight Up.\u201d In a statement to RS, Robyn said she wrote \u201cTalk to Me\u201d \u201cduring the pandemic when there was no way to be physical \u2026 I like talkers, that turns me on.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cExploring my sensual life is the same feeling as when I make a good song,\u201d she added of the album title. \u201cIt\u2019s such a beautiful kind of sensitive vibration that takes so much work to keep afloat. I feel like the purpose of my life is to stay horny \u2014 it doesn\u2019t even have to be about sex, but it\u2019s feeling sensual and attracted to things that I enjoy, and not letting anything take over that.\u201d<\/p>\n

Robyn<\/a> has been teasing new work since November, when she released a new single, \u201cDopamine\u201d \u2014 her first new song (not including features) in nearly seven years. While she\u2019s been busy recording with Charli XCX, SG Lewis, and Jamie xx, she hasn\u2019t dropped any new music of her own since the release of her eighth studio album, Honey, in 2018. The only thing we know for certain is that Robyn\u2019s music rules the dance floor \u2014 and at least one classic scene<\/a> from Lena Dunham\u2019s Girls. Things are looking bleak, but at least a musical shot of dopamine is on its way.<\/p>\n
