Abu Dhabi\u00a0–\u00a0Reem Hospital today announced the successful\u00a0completion and database lock for its clinical trial, the TauRx TRx-237-805 study, a major investigation into the novel therapy Hydromethylthionine Mesylate\u00a0(HMTM\u00a0)\u00a0for\u00a0the management of\u00a0Alzheimer’s Disease, the most common form of dementia\u00a0worldwide.<\/p>\n
The trial was conducted in collaboration with Insights Research Organization\u00a0&\u00a0Solutions (IROS), a leading UAE-based contract research organization (CRO) and part of the M42 group, which oversaw\u00a0the trial’s end-to-end management. The study also leveraged advanced diagnostic tools to identify early biomarkers of cognitive decline in individuals with a high genetic risk of developing Alzheimer’s disease.<\/p>\n
The completion of this trial marks a major institutional milestone for Reem Hospital, establishing its capacity to contribute to global medical research and innovation.
