Artificial intelligence roles<\/a> are among the fastest-growing jobs<\/a> in Australia, new research has revealed. AI literacy has become the most in-demand skill that employers are now looking for, and there are a bunch of opportunities for job seekers<\/a>.<\/p>\n AI engineers topped this year’s LinkedIn Jobs on the Rise list for 2026<\/a>, which is based on an analysis of millions of jobs started by members over the past three years. The job involves designing systems to do tasks like analysing data and making predictions.<\/p>\n According to recruitment firm Hays, AI engineers earn a typical salary of $190,000, but it can range from $165,000 to $250,000 a year.<\/p>\n RELATED<\/p>\n AI adoption<\/a> is also driving demand for roles like director of artificial intelligence, which ranked fourth on the list.
