Cricket fans who\u2019ve dreamt of batting like Sir Don Bradman can now give it a try, with the legend\u2019s childhood home in New South Wales set to open for overnight stays through Airbnb for the very first time.<\/p>\n

The Don lived at the house at 52 Shepherd Street in Bowral between the ages of three and 15, where he famously used a golf ball, a stump and an old water tank stand to hone his technique that would make him cricket\u2019s greatest batsman.<\/p>\n

The iconic water tank, central to Bradman\u2019s story, has been carefully preserved for guests to experience.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe water tank was restored quite a few years ago and done out of original old corrugated iron to replicate when Bradman actually played against the tank,\u201d current owner Glen Haddon said.<\/p>\n

\u201cSo it\u2019s in fantastic condition and just been repainted.\u201d<\/p>\n

The historic four-bedroom house sleeps eight people and offers a unique opportunity for cricket enthusiasts to walk in the footsteps of Australia\u2019s sporting icon.<\/p>\n

Bookings are available from February 27.<\/p>\n
