The Spurs pulled off a stellar win last night against the Los Angeles Lakers. With both teams playing on the second night of a back-to-back, energy was a factor and tensions were high.<\/p>\n
There was a lot of Purple and Gold in the sea of Silver & Black, and the sell out crowd was loud. Every time Luka Doncic stepped to the foul line (he shot 16 of the Lakers 22 free throws) there was a bombast of boos from Spurs fans. When he made his free throws (only 10 of the 16) there was an equal amount of cheering from the Laker fans in attendance.<\/p>\n
Fortunately the night went the way of the Spurs and there was a lot of gold jerseys making their way towards the exits with three minutes left in the game.<\/p>\n
No one was more excited to see aggravated Lakers than Jeremy Sochan.<\/p>\n
Sochan, who has not seen much play in the past weeks, stepped into the game in Memphis two nights ago and brought some great energy to the team.<\/p>\n
Spurs head coach Mitch Johnson addressed his enthusiasm before the game last night stating,<\/p>\n
\u201cHow do we talk about rewarding the process or actions and approach that we want and then not acknowledge when that process happens\u2026he helped change the trajectory of the game. That\u2019s something that if we don\u2019t acknowledge that we\u2019re going to lose a lot of credibility in the locker room.\u201d<\/p>\n
Sochan was rewarded with eleven-and-a-half minutes, just enough time to go two-for-two from beyond the arc. It also gave Jeremy a chance to rekindle a beef between he and Jarred Vanderbilt.<\/p>\n

Apparently, Sochan yelled \u201cHell no\u201d everytime Vanderbilt took a shot last night. Vanderbilt took offense to Sochan\u2019s taunting.<\/p>\n
Vanderbilt ended the night with 4 points, 3 fouls, and 2 turnovers.<\/p>\n
