Strikers captain Matt Short told FiveAA: “It’s nothing against Hassan Ali. He did a really good job for us. It’s purely a match-up thing for us, similar to Perth.”

Chris Lynn is named despite spending time off the field in the last game.

Short praised young in-form all-rounder Liam Scott. He said: “He’s been pretty reliable with both bat and ball. He’s had a big 18 months with the SACA and even Australia A stuff. He’s still a young fella and he’s growing in every match he plays in. He’s getting the job done for us, which is good. He’s one of the first picked at the moment.
