Golnesa \u201cGG\u201d Gharachedaghi<\/a> is working on downsizing as she begins a new year on reality TV.<\/p>\n

\u201cI did lessen the amount of weed I was purchasing. I would say it\u2019s less than $3,000 now per month,\u201d GG, 44, exclusively shared with Us Weekly before the Thursday, January 8, series premiere of The Valley: Persian Style<\/a>. \u201cI rely on cannabis for my health. I rely on it for psychological calmness, for a lot of things, and I\u2019m OK with it. It\u2019s a natural substance.\u201d<\/p>\n

The former Shahs of Sunset<\/a> star added that she\u2019s \u201cnot really\u201d drinking alcohol anymore. Instead, she\u2019s choosing to spend her money on legal weed.<\/p>\n

During the first episodes of Bravo\u2019s newest reality show, GG was put in the hot seat about her finances and her need to downsize.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tFor a special group of Persian friends, it\u2019s time to say goodbye to Beverly Hills and hello to suburban life in The Valley: Persian Style. Featuring Shahs of Sunset alumni Reza Farahan, Mercedeh \u201cMJ\u201d Javid and Golnesa \u201cGG\u201d Gharachedaghi, the new Bravo show will see the reality TV legends navigating a new chapter of their [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n

\u201cI know that Golnesa wants to bury her head in the sand and pretend that the problems aren\u2019t there,\u201d Mercedeh \u201cMJ\u201d Javid<\/a> said in a confessional interview. \u201cBut that\u2019s not adulting, sis.\u201d<\/p>\n

Before viewers \u2014 and costars \u2014 come for her lavish lifestyle, GG confirmed she downsized from six bedrooms to five bedrooms.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m happy,\u201d she told Us. \u201cIt\u2019s a little hard. You gotta fit all the clothes into the rooms and stuff. But we\u2019re in a great neighborhood, a great school. My backyard is gigantic, so I have these two huge Rottweilers that get to just roam all around. It\u2019s great.\u201d<\/p>\n

After learning that her spending was a hot topic of conversation, GG said she did some thinking and realized that she needed to make a change.<\/p>\n

\u201cI will be honest with you. Hearing how much I was spending, when I said that out loud \u2014 because I had to actually do the math in my brain on how much I was spending \u2014 I was like, \u2018Oh, wow,\u2019\u201d GG told Us. \u201cI can have a whole different other mortgage if I wanted. It was nice to hear that.\u201d<\/p>\n

In a unique way, GG \u2014 who made her reality TV debut on Shahs of Sunset in 2012 \u2014 argued that being on a reality show is the best therapy.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou hear yourself or you watch yourself and you\u2019re like, \u2018Oh, my gosh.\u2019 I just wasn\u2019t expecting my credit and whatnot to be brought up,\u201d she said. \u201cWhen I hired Reza [Farahan] to be my agent, I didn\u2019t think that my credit was going to be a topic of discussion in a friend\u2019s group of people. These are all my friends.\u201d<\/p>\n

While The Valley: Persian Style promises plenty of drama amongst GG\u2019s friend group, she is thrilled to be back filming with some of her closest pals after Shahs of Sunset said goodbye in 2021.<\/p>\n

\u201cReza and I got very close. I feel like as soon as the cameras went down, we didn\u2019t have an excuse for forcing a friendship, and we became friends naturally,\u201d GG said. \u201cWe started traveling and doing so many fun things together.\u201d<\/p>\n

While GG may still have her ups and downs with MJ, the past years have been a positive change.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe\u2019s definitely coming out of that shell,\u201d GG teased, \u201cand regaining herself and her friendships and all that.\u201d<\/p>\n
