An AFL WAG who has been the repeated target of online trolling say bullies have taken things to a whole new level.<\/p>\n
Chloe Pink, who is married to North Melbourne AFL player Toby Pink, became the victim of trolling when her wedding photos were shared online in April 2025.<\/p>\n
In the days after her wedding, Ms Pink wasn\u2019t enjoying wedded bliss; she was at home crying and deleting and blocking messages from people calling her a \u201cpig\u201d and \u201cfat\u201d.<\/p>\n
It led to consistent body shaming for more six months \u2014 until she decided to retake her wedding photos to reclaim the joy of the day.<\/p>\n
She then auctioned off the dress with proceeds going to Dolly\u2019s Dream, a leading anti-bullying charity dedicated to changing the culture of bullying.<\/p>\n
However, in the months since she retook her wedding pictures, the bullying has reached a whole new level, Ms Pink said. <\/p>\n
She took to Instagram to reveal she was now getting harassing phone calls.<\/p>\n
\u201cCalling me saying, \u2018hi piggy, oink oink\u2019 is harassment,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s cruel, disgusting and cowardly. If you think this is funny, you need serious help.<\/p>\n
\u201cHide behind No Caller ID all you want \u2014 rot in hell.\u201d<\/p>\n
Harassing phone calls can land offenders in prison for up to three years.<\/p>\n
In a follow up post, Ms Pink confirmed that she had reported the calls to the police.<\/p>\n
\u201cI see all of your kind messaged and I\u2019m so grateful for the support. I\u2019m sorry I can\u2019t respond to everyone individually,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis matter has now been handed over to the police.<\/p>\n
\u201cMessaging me or commenting on my posts is one thing but finding my personal number and calling to harass me about my appearance crosses a serious line.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis was a deliberate and deeply low act. Instead of breaking me, it has lit a fire in my belly. You will never make me feel less than who I am.<\/p>\n
\u201cDo better.\u201d<\/p>\n
Fans and friends were quick to rush to Ms Pink\u2019s defence.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019ve been thinking of you \u2013 I hope you\u2019re OK. You don\u2019t deserve any of the awfulness,\u201d one person said.<\/p>\n
Another added: \u201cThere\u2019s more of us that stand with you than against you, far and wide.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cYou are gorgeous inside and out, I stand with you Chloe,\u201d another added.<\/p>\n
One social media user said: \u201cYou\u2019re gorgeous inside and out. They\u2019ve got nothing.
