\n Several police cars, a fire engine, an ambulance, and an air ambulance attended the Asda Wal-Mart store at the Orbital Shopping Park on Friday afternoon.\n<\/p>\n
\n A Wiltshre Police spkesperson said: “At around 2pm, officers and our partners in the fire and ambulance services responded to a mental health-related incident at the Orbital Shopping Centre, Swindon.\u00a0
\u201cA woman in her 20s has been taken to hospital to be treated for injuries to her legs which are not thought to be life-changing.
\u201cA scene was put in place but has now been lifted. There was no risk to the wider public.\u201d\n<\/p>\n
\n A spokesperson for the South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust (SWASFT) said: \u201cWe were called at 14:47hrs on January 9 to an incident in Swindon.\n<\/p>\n
\n “We sent one double-crewed land ambulance, an air ambulance, an operations officer and a first responder to the scene.\n<\/p>\n
\n “We conveyed one patient by land ambulance to Great Western Hospital.\u201d\n<\/p>\n
\n A spokesman for\u00a0Dorset & Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “A crew from Stratton was called to the Orbital Shopping Centre at 2.56pm to assist police and ambulance colleagues with an incident.\n<\/p>\n
