{"id":402563,"date":"2026-01-09T19:11:11","date_gmt":"2026-01-09T19:11:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/402563\/"},"modified":"2026-01-09T19:11:11","modified_gmt":"2026-01-09T19:11:11","slug":"new-trailer-the-youngblood-remake","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/402563\/","title":{"rendered":"New Trailer: The &#8220;Youngblood&#8221; Remake"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>            <a href=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/new-trailer-the-youngblood-remake.jpg\" data-caption=\"Well Go USA\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"696\" height=\"464\" class=\"entry-thumb td-modal-image\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/new-trailer-the-youngblood-remake.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"new-trailer-the-youngblood-remake\"\/><\/a>Well Go USA<\/p>\n<p>Well Go USA Entertainment has premiered the official trailer for the modern remake of 1986 sports drama \u201cYoungblood,\u201d which starred Rob Lowe and Patrick Swayze.<\/p>\n<p>This version is led by Ashton James (\u201cBoxcutter\u201d) as hockey prodigy Dean Youngblood, a young man raised on the sport by a hardline father (Blair Underwood).<\/p>\n<p>Dean leaves Detroit to join Canada\u2019s Hamilton Mustangs where his skill turns heads, but his arrogance earns enemies and keeps him benched by the resentful Coach Chadwick (Shawn Doyle). <\/p>\n<p>After a costly clash with rival goon Carl Racki (Donald MacLean Jr.), Dean finds guidance from team captain Sutton (Henri Picard) and unexpected love with the coach\u2019s daughter Jessie (Alexandra McDonald).<\/p>\n<p>When Racki brutally injures Sutton, Dean faces a defining playoff showdown \u2013 and a choice between rage and maturity.
