A development application has been lodged for a new multi-storey car park for the Aspley Hornets AFL Club, located at 50 Graham Road, Carseldine.<\/p>\n

Designed by MODE Design, the proposal seeks the demolition of the existing car park and construction of a new multi-level car park to support the ongoing operation of the Aspley Hornets Australian Football and Sporting Club. The proposal is intended to address existing on-site parking shortfalls, particularly during peak usage periods such as weekend game days.<\/p>\n

The planners at Bennett + Bennett state, \u201cThe proposed carpark has been designed to appear as a lightweight built form and uses a colour and material palette consistent with the existing clubhouse to maintain a cohesive visual identity across the site. Vertical yellow and black battens provide a dual effect of screening the carpark whilst providing an appealing aesthetic. The fa\u00e7ade incorporates planter boxes with cascading greenery and climbing plants, enhancing the visual quality of the structure\u201d.<\/p>\n
