According to reports from ESPN<\/a>, Brooks Koepka has applied to reinstate his PGA Tour membership, marking a potential step toward returning to the circuit he last competed on nearly four years ago.<\/p>\n

The 35-year-old, a five-time major winner and nine-time PGA Tour victor, submitted his application on Jan. 9, 2026. His last PGA Tour appearance came at the Valspar Championship in March 2022, where he tied for 12th. Koepka did not renew his membership ahead of the 2022-23 season after joining LIV Golf.<\/p>\n

The move follows Koepka\u2019s departure from the Saudi-backed LIV Golf League on Dec. 23, 2025, with one year remaining on his contract. The split was described as amicable and mutual, with Koepka citing family priorities. LIV Golf CEO Scott O\u2019Neil noted Koepka\u2019s desire to stay closer to home and focus on family needs. Koepka\u2019s management team emphasized that family has always driven his choices, adding he remains committed to golf while supporting LIV Golf\u2019s future.<\/p>\n

Currently ranked No. 244 in the Official World Golf Ranking due to LIV events not awarding points, Koepka retains exemptions for the four majors in 2026 from his 2023 PGA Championship victory.<\/p>\n
