\n\tThe Toho and GKids<\/a> sequel Godzilla Minus Zero<\/a> will hit North American theaters on November 6, 2026 following its premiere in Japan on November 3.<\/p>\n

\n\tDirector-screenwriter Takashi Yamazaki returns for the follow-up to 2023\u2019s Godzilla Minus One<\/a>, which minted north of $116 million at the box office and won Best Visual Effects at the 96th Academy Awards, becoming the first Asian film to take home the award.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe release date of November 3 holds a special significance in Godzilla\u2019s storied legacy, marking the date of the original theatrical release of Godzilla in 1954.<\/p>\n

\n\tGodzilla Minus One opened to $11.4M stateside and went on to make north of $57M at the domestic B.O. A remastered black-and-white version received a one-week play in late January 2024 in the states after playing Japan earlier that month.<\/p>\n
