Score: UAlbany 71, Bryant 46

Location: Broadview Center | Albany, N.Y.

Records: UAlbany (5-12, 1-1 America East), Bryant (5-12, 1-2 America East)

Short Story: The University at Albany men’s basketball team delivered a dominant performance at the Broadview Center, cruising to a 71-46 victory over Bryant in America East play

Coach Killings: “Yeah, it was a good win for us. What makes me happiest is how our guys responded after a really hard week of practices. We challenged them with tough drills, studied games from Houston, Texas Tech, UConn, Providence, Vermont, and Binghamton to teach what winning looks like, the pace, and the urgency, and it carried over on the court. I told our guys this isn’t the finish line; they need to get addicted to winning and the process. Talent is important, but effort, execution, and discipline win games, and I think we grew in those areas. A big part of that came from players like Isaac Abides and Zack Matula, who led by example, and Blue Left Fall, whose presence, pace, and energy on both ends of the floor were crucial. Overall, it was a strong step in the right direction for our team.”
