Hamnet won best film (drama) and best actress for Jessie Buckley. Timothee Chalamet won best actor in a motion picture (musical or comedy) for Marty Supreme, while Brazil\u2019s Wagner Moura won the drama equivalent for The Secret Agent.<\/p>\n Julia Roberts was beaten by Jessie Buckley but brought the audience to their feet \u2013 she\u2019s now a beloved Hollywood veteran \u2013 when she presented late in the ceremony. Stellan Skarsg\u00e5rd won best supporting actor for Sentimental Value.<\/p>\n Which TV shows won?<\/p>\n The television categories were dominated by Adolescence, which won best limited series (drama) and three acting awards for young Owen Cooper, Stephen Graham and Erin Doherty. One of the awards\u2019 most stirring speeches was by Jack Thorne, who created the show with Graham. <\/p>\n The other big TV winners were the intense medica drama The Pitt, which won best TV drama and best actor in a TV drama for Noah Wyle, and Hollywood satire The Studio, which won best TV series (musical or comedy) and best actor in the category for Seth Rogen.<\/p>\n
\u201cI didn\u2019t sing,\u201d Byrne said in a sweet speech that noted the film cost \u201clike, $8.50\u2033 and her parents in Australia had gone to the trouble of signing up to streaming service Paramount+ so they could watch the awards.<\/p>\n
