The red carpet<\/a> at this year’s Golden Globe Awards<\/a> is awash with black gowns and Old Hollywood glamour \u2013 and Selena Gomez<\/a> brought both.<\/p>\n

The singer and actor was a picture of elegance as she arrived at the Beverly Hilton hotel in a Chanel dress that took the French label over 320 hours to make.<\/p>\n

Embellished with about 200 embroidered elements, the custom bustier dress blossomed with feathers, silk chiffon and silk organza.<\/p>\n

The strapless design meanwhile dipped into a V shape at the back, revealing Gomez’s rose tattoo.<\/p>\n

She completed the look with Chanel jewellery \u2013 including huge diamond-encrusted earrings and several rings \u2013 and a pair of black slingbacks only visible as she lifted the floor-length dress to walk along the red carpet.<\/p>\n

Nominated (for the fourth consecutive year) for her performance in Only Murders in the Building<\/a>, Gomez also sported glamorous bob hairstyle, black nail polish and classic red lipstick.<\/p>\n

She was accompanied on the red carpet by her husband, music producer Benny Blanco<\/a>, who wore a black suit with an unbuttoned shirt and statement brooch.<\/p>\n

He, too, sparkled with diamonds \u2013 and a pair of bejewelled loafers.<\/p>\n

Gomez has often turned to Chanel for its women’s tailoring, including the tweed skirt she wore to the Academy Women’s Luncheon in 2024 and the navy two-piece she sported at the Cannes Film Festival in 2019.<\/p>\n

Gomez and Blanco<\/a>‘s appearance on the Golden Globes red carpet comes four months after they married in Santa Barbara, California<\/a> after two years of dating.<\/p>\n

The bride and groom both wore Ralph Lauren for the occasion \u2013 a halter-neck gown for the Lose You to Love Me singer, and a black tuxedo for her groom.\ufeff<\/p>\n
