With the Pittsburgh Steelers<\/a> loss to the Houston Texans<\/a> on Monday night, Aaron Rodgers’ career may be coming to an end.<\/p>\n

The veteran quarterback was hoping for a deep playoff run with Pittsburgh, but instead ran into a fierce Texans team. Houston stifled the Steelers all night, delivering Rodgers’ biggest playoff loss of his career.<\/p>\n

Since Rodgers entered the NFL, he’s had many tough playoff losses, both blowouts and close games. Here’s a breakdown of some of his worst losses by point differential.<\/p>\n

Before tonight, Rodgers had only lost one other playoff game by at least 20 points: the 2016 NFC championship game. In this game, the Packers<\/a> made a valiant run to the final four but were severely outmatched by an explosive Falcons<\/a> team.<\/p>\n

The Falcons went up big early, taking a 24-0 lead into halftime, as the Packers added their production when the game was already over.<\/p>\n

Rodgers could never figure out the 49ers<\/a>, which included a rout in San Francisco during the 2019 NFC championship game. The 49ers ran all over the Packers, as Raheem Mostert produced a historic stat line, giving the Packers’ offense no chance to make the game close. Once again, the opponent went up big early, as the 49ers had a 27-0 lead after 30 minutes.<\/p>\n

Of all the losses on this list, this one likely hurts the most. After winning the Super Bowl, the Packers went 15-1 during the following season and were the overwhelming favorites in the playoffs. However, the New York Giants<\/a> came into Lambeau Field and beat the Packers by 17 points, using a 17-7 fourth quarter to put the game away.<\/p>\n

Colin Kaepernick’s signature NFL moment came against Rodgers and the Packers in the NFC divisional round. Kaepernick both ran and threw all over the Packers’ defense, putting up 45 points in a San Francisco blowout. Kaepernick ended the game with 263 yards passing, 181 yards rushing and four total touchdowns.<\/p>\n

Rodgers and the Green Bay offense once again struggled against San Francisco’s defense, which was coached by current Texans coach DeMeco Ryans, and Green Bay lost on a crucial special teams blunder.<\/p>\n
