High Zaptitude sees Electric-type Pok\u00e9mon take the spotlight in Pok\u00e9mon Go, bringing the release of Wattrel<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Running until Sunday 18th January at 8pm (local time), a number of Global Challenges are available throughout the High Zaptitude event. These challenges see the entire Pok\u00e9mon Go<\/a> community come together to complete a specific task in return for useful rewards!<\/p>\n

Alongside these challenges, you’ll also be able to enjoy the High Zaptitude research tasks and bonuses. Shiny Tadbulb has also been released!<\/p>\n

High Zaptitude field research tasks<\/p>\n

Below you’ll find the High Zaptitude field research tasks:<\/p>\n

Catch 5 Pok\u00e9mon reward – Chinchou, Tynamo or Helioptile encounter
\nCatch 15 Pok\u00e9mon reward – Emolga, Yamper or Tadbulb encounter
\nTBA reward (Unlocks after Global Challenge completed) – Wattrel encounter<\/p>\n

\nThe High Zaptitude event<\/a> is currently running and you can now catch Wattrel<\/a>! Make sure you the January event<\/a> and raid<\/a> schedules.

\nRemote Trading<\/a> has been released in Pok\u00e9mon Go! You can get a shiny Keldeo thanks to the Masterwork Research: Pony Tales<\/a> quest and there’s also the new Precious Paths Special Research<\/a> quest.

\nThere’s a lot to do in Pok\u00e9mon Go outside of the current event! First, it’s worth learning about the level update<\/a>. After this, you might want to fight in the Go Battle League<\/a>, use Party Play<\/a>, compete in a Pok\u00e9Stop Showcase<\/a> or explore a Route<\/a> for its Gift Exchange<\/a>. Keep an eye out for rare Pok\u00e9mon<\/a> and don’t forget to collect Max Particles<\/a>, so you can battle Dynamax Pok\u00e9mon<\/a> in Max Battles<\/a>.

Wattrel debuts in Pok\u00e9mon Go<\/p>\n

Wattrel and Kilowattrel, its evolution, are debuting in Pok\u00e9mon Go during the High Zaptitude event. As their names suggest, these Pok\u00e9mon are Electric and Flying-type members of Gen 9<\/a>. High Zaptitude Global Challenges<\/p>\n

Three Global Challenges are running throughout the High Zaptitude event, with the next one automatically starting after one has been completed until we’ve run out of Global Challenges. A new bonus will be unlocked every time the Pok\u00e9mon Go community completed one of these challenges.<\/p>\n

Any 2km egg<\/a> you collect during the High Zaptitude event has the chance of hatching the following Pok\u00e9mon:<\/p>\n

High Zaptitude pay-to-play quest<\/p>\n

\u00a31.99, $1.99 or the equivalent pricing tier in your local currency.
\nNon-refundable and can not be purchased using Pok\u00e9Coins<\/a>.
\nCan be given to a player you’re Great Friends<\/a> or higher with.
\nMust be completed, with rewards claimed, by Sunday 18th January at 8pm (local time).
\nUnlocks additional bonus – hatch distance halved for eggs placed in Incubators during event period.<\/p>\n
