Chariots also represents BYD in Kettering.<\/p>\n<p>Temporary signage is currently in place while formal works are undertaken to fully incorporate BYD\u2019s corporate identity and branding.<\/p>\n<p>Chariots is a family-owned business that was founded in 2011.<\/p>\n<p>Pav Panesar from Knight Frank\u2019s Automotive team advised Chariots on the acquisition.<\/p>\n<p>BYD has been expanding fast in the UK. It ended 2025 with a total of 125 franchised dealership sites across the nation. Just 12 months ago, the brand\u2019s presence consisted of only 52 dealers.<\/p>\n<p>The retailer network now consists of 38 partners \u2013 18 of which were new to the business this year.<\/p>\n<p>Steve Beattie, Deputy Country Manager of BYD UK, said: \u201cIt\u2019s a huge achievement for us at BYD UK to hit 125 dealer locations in such a short space of time.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt really speaks of our desire to provide access to the world\u2019s leading New Energy Vehicle manufacturer to as many customers as possible, and I\u2019m massively proud of the team that put in all the hard work that made this happen.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Chariots Specialist Cars has announced the acquisition of the former Suzuki dealership on Leicester Road, Rugby.
