CMAA Academy Showcase<\/p>\n

The CMAA Academy is a shining light in the music industry. A breeding ground for the next generation of singers and songwriters, it boasts alumni such as Sara Storer, Wade Forster, Jessica Mauboy, and many more.<\/p>\n

The Class of 2026 is set to perform original works and well-known favourites at this special showcase, a show the whole family can enjoy. You just might be watching a future star.<\/p>\n

Saturday January 17 \u2014 The Bluebird Room at Tamworth Community Centre, 11am<\/p>\n

Bluegrass Extravaganza\"Bluegrass<\/p>\n

A double-header for the ages, featuring the hottest players on the scene teaming up for a bluegrass bonanza.<\/p>\n

Newcastle’s Midnight Chicken are known for their quirky and refreshing take on bluegrass, delivering stand-out renditions of traditional tunes alongside captivating originals.<\/p>\n

Their debut self-titled album, released in early 2025, was feature album on ABC Country<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Victorian bluegrass band The High Street Drifters have been busy carving out a distinctive place in the Australian music landscape.<\/p>\n

Led by mandolinist Justin Vilchez and guitarist Daniel Watkins, the band features a rotating cast of some of the country’s finest bluegrass musicians on fiddle, banjo, and bass.<\/p>\n

Emerging powerhouse duo Ally Row<\/a> are having the time of their life working tirelessly in support of their acclaimed debut album Something More, another former ABC Country feature album<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The duo have been honing their live show touring the country so be sure to catch their blend of alt country at their TCMF set.<\/p>\n

Monday January 19 \u2014 West Tamworth Leagues Club, 7pm<\/p>\n

Take a break from the Tamworth crowds and hightail it to the quaint town of Nundle, with its beautiful cafes, pub, clubs, caravan park, swimming pool, funky stores, and mountainous gold mining history.<\/p>\n

The beautifully air-conditioned Memorial Arts Hall will host over 25 acts across three days, including Americans Tim Easton and Brea Burns, and Aussies like Felicity Urquhart & Josh Cunningham, JB Paterson, Indigenous storyteller Warren Mason, and Dashville favourites Dank Hank, Johnston City, Magpie Diaries, Georgie Winchester, and CJ Stranger.<\/p>\n

January 23-24 \u2014 Nundle Memorial Hall<\/p>\n

Tasmania’s The Wolfe Brothers make their annual return to the Tamworth Country Music Festival with two big shows on one big day at the legendary Longyard Hotel.<\/p>\n

It kicks off with an all-ages Family Show at 4pm, then at 7.30pm it is time to get into ‘party mode as the boys raise the roof alongside special guests Sons Of Atticus.<\/p>\n

Known for their undeniable chemistry and ability to connect with audiences, Matt and Dylan bring a mix of humour, authenticity, and raw talent to every performance<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Led by the charming and sweeter-than-honey howl of singer\/songwriter Samantha Lombardi, The Smith & Western Jury sway between wild, fiery honky-tonk and slow, dreamy pop-tinged country as effortlessly as a drunk cowgirl riding a mechanical bull in the middle of a neon-soaked dance floor.<\/p>\n

Blowing kisses to tradition in the rear-view mirror, the band are riding their very own highway into modernity.<\/p>\n
