{"id":414711,"date":"2026-01-15T13:34:08","date_gmt":"2026-01-15T13:34:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/414711\/"},"modified":"2026-01-15T13:34:08","modified_gmt":"2026-01-15T13:34:08","slug":"max-verstappen-and-daniel-ricciardo-set-for-rare-red-bull-reunion","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/414711\/","title":{"rendered":"Max Verstappen and Daniel Ricciardo set for rare Red Bull reunion"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Max Verstappen and Daniel Ricciardo are set to reunite for a rare public appearance together at Red Bull\u2019s F1 2026 season launch event.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.crash.net\/f1\/teams\/red-bull-racing\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Red Bull<\/a> will reveal their 2026 livery in Detroit on Thursday night (Friday morning UK time) at a season launch event which kicks off their new engine partnership with American car giant Ford.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.crash.net\/f1\/racer\/852\/max-verstappen\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Verstappen <\/a>and new Red Bull teammate <a href=\"https:\/\/www.crash.net\/f1\/racer\/1043643\/isack-hadjar\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Isack Hadjar <\/a>will be present, while Ford have confirmed Ricciardo will be a guest at the launch in his new ambassador role.<\/p>\n<p>Ricciardo\u2019s appearance will set up a rare public reunion with Verstappen, who were teammates at Red Bull between 2016 and 2018 before the Australian left to join Renault.<\/p>\n<p>The pair briefly reunited in a recent video shared by Red Bull.
